We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. did you use any filters?

Schizophrenia beats dining alone.
Filters used:
Curves, for the overall image
Curves for each channel (red, green, blue) (ie, 4 adjustment layers with curves)
Hue/saturation - tweaked red, green, blue, cyan and magenta
Tweaked exposure
Shadow/highlight filter
Added a basic warming filter
Layer effects used:
2 duplicate layers
One with a gaussian blur and a 6 pixel radius, layer blending mode soft light, ~45%
Next with multiply (softens the edges), much larger gaussian blur at 12 pixels, 5% blend (gives a very very slight poster cut out effect too)
Brushwork:
Manual dodge/burn on each of the layers
Manual eraser on each of the layers

ODDS (oibyrd's daily deviations) are to honor the sometimes overlooked artists of dA that I personally think deserve some exposure and also, to introduce the more popular artists to the new/overlooked deviants.
